The mission of the Ambient IoT Alliance is to

“Accelerate and support the development of an open, harmonized, and aligned multi-standard eco-system for Ambient IoT manufacturers, suppliers, integrators, operators,

users, and customers.”

 

Ambient IoT refers to a class of IoT devices primarily

powered by harvesting ambient energy from radio waves, light, motion, heat, or

any other viable ambient energy source.
